The day I named my first daughter
Patrice LongmireYesterday I attended the graduation of my oldest daughter Amie Nicole Longmire. She graduated from USC with her Masters in Professional Writing. We were all there to celebrate this very wonderful day with her. When they called her name to receive her diploma ....... Brought me back to the day Michael and I named her.... This sweet little baby. Now she was standing up before so many people getting her Masters degree. Her dream has always been to be a writer... She has always believed in her dream. I believe in her and her dream.
My heart is spinning with- how time flys and how God's hand has so beautifully held my family in his hand... For that I am speachless and thankful beyond words.
We got in late last night from Amie's graduation. I hit the floor running. Packing like a wild woman. I'm leaving for Brave Girl Camp very early in the morning. I will be gone for 10 days....
Woohoo!! can not wait to give all the dear new campers a hug and welcome them to a camp that just might change their lives....
