Airstream love

Spent the day in the Villa yesterday.  That is what we call our vintage Airstream. We bought "her" about 5 years ago. The inside of the villa is a kinda dirty white. (looks pink in the photo for some reason).  Always looked...ummmm... dingy.  We wanted a "warmer" look. BUT also wanted to keep the retro kinda feel of our 1963 Safari. ALSO, the BRIGHT BLUE counter tops have to stay for now....  ALSO. just thinking about all the prep that needed to be done before we even got the paint out kept us away from this job. For some reason.. Yesterday was the day to start the re-do...

We settled for a celery sprig green from Behr paint.

I should be packing for the upcoming Brave Girl Camp. AND getting ready for Amie's graduation from USC. A Two day trip (leaving tomorrow after taking Cole to the dentist and getting my hair cut).... Let's see that is Thursday and Friday... Getting back home on Friday night late... I leave for camp on Sunday bright and early.. I think it is a 6:00 A.M. flight.  I DO have all of Saturday to pack..... I will be gone 9 days....

But today,  I am going to happily skip off to the villa and put a paint brush in my hand. Just something about working next to my best friend on a project full of dreams seems to be exactly what I need this week. So I am going with it......

I will be planing and packing in my head... That counts right?  Let's hope so.
